SIMPL is Southern Company’s online generator interconnection data tool. Interconnections Customers are required to use the SIMPL tool to submit new inverter-based generator interconnection requests and to submit valid generating facility data for any new or existing interconnection requests.

Southern Company has posted information related to the timeline and implementation of FERC Order No. 2023 on its OASIS (https://www.oasis.oati.com/SOCO/index.html). For more detailed information, please review the information posted on OASIS under the Order 2023 Implementation-->Transitional Study Process subfolder of the Generator Interconnection folder. Please submit any question or comments to Meredith Evans and Nick Hall via the SCS Transmission Generator Interconnections Team distribution list (tscspinter@southernco.com) with cc to Wes Barber (wpbarber@southernco.com). Southern Companies will be collecting questions and posting an FAQ document on OASIS to ensure all customers receive consistent information.
